Twelve Man Dragons Hammer the Tigers
All eyes were on the Castleford Tigers for their trip to the south of France to take on the Catalans Dragons in their fortress. The Tigers were looking to draw level with the Saints and the Giants and give themselves the chance of a play-off place finish.

The Dragons are practically out of the play-off places and are playing for pride in their remaining games. A win today would see them above Hull FC and up into seventh and a big win, by forty-four points or more, would lift them above Warrington into sixth.

Indeed, Castleford were rubbish. At least 'part timers' Featherstone, with a 'weakened side' gave them a game in the challenge cup !

I wish cas' season would've been more like fev's with home defeats to the majority of their part time league vs teams like haven and london and drawing in crowds of 1100 come the business end of the season.

Very poor result. Personally wouldn't attempt to play a game of Rugby League in the South of France and travel there in the same day. Sounds like most of the players had the same idea.

The start was absolutely horrendous. 5 pens in 11 mins, 2 of which for tackling someone in the air, brain dead rugby. The sending off didn't benefit us at all as gibbo went off on a stretcher meaning a major reshuffle and losing shanny and Roberts meant we had no bench. The break has come at the right time for us and its do or die at Huddersfield which I think we knew it would be all along.
