Daryl must be a great chance to win the award again this year, given the sensational rebuilding job he's had to do with all the new players and the loss of Clark, Huby, Sneyd and the rest.
Looking back in history only 3 men have won it back to back:-
Arthur Bunting at Hull 1982-83 John Monie at Wigan OBVIOUSLY 1990-91-92-93 (I could've coached that team) Daniel Anderson at Saints 2006-07
Others to win it twice - Graham Lowe, Matthew Elliott, Michael Potter.
Could join exclusive company, Mr Powell, at the end of this year. And probably without winning a trophy, although I hope that isn't the case....

If your boys keep this up Powell will certainly be up there! You lost so many key players last year after the core of a special team was broken up! But your out playing and enthusing the best of them! A fair few games to play and a whole load could happen but at the min Powell has to be up there for it

Looking at the opposition Powell must be in the top 3 at the moment. Chester at HKR is'nt doing too badly and I wouldn't discount Cunninghem at Saints either.
