Steve Gill apparently confirmed on Radio Leeds earlier that we're in discussions with him, and will probably be announcing some news soon. Thoughts? Probably confirms the loss of Channing & possibly Gibson? We're overrun with centres/wingers at the moment... is he better than anything we've already got? |

Channing wouldn't be much of a loss, he tries hard but he just isn't SL standard IMO. Steve also gave a pretty good speech on why the marquee player rule is garbage. |

We may be overrun with centres / wingers, but only Shenny and Webster are SL standard centres, and Webster may have one more year left in him or he may not (I hope he does, been superb lately). We desperately need cover there. Channing just simply is not a SL standard player - gives 110% every time he pulls on the shirt, but just not good enough. Gibson has proved his worth this season as a good squad player, but he is not a starting SL centre by any stretch. Crooks would be a great signing IMO - young, english and a point to prove. Think DP could do wonders with him. |

Doesn't normally let us down, but where does he fit into the starting 17? Solomona and Carney are clearly the best wing pairing we have, Dorn has at least a year or 2 left in him at full back with Robson looking promising to work with him over the next year. So, Clare looks like another squad player, and to be fair to him he needs to be playing week in week out. Theres also Roberts that can cover centre/fullback if need be too, although I would like to see him starting at 6 when Dorn comes back. DP has some selection headaches on his hands!! |

Looks like your signing Greg Minikin from York Knights, hes 20 a strong centre Saints and a couple of other S/L clubs have been intrested in him, he will be a very good signing for you. |

Could be great signing for you lot if he's matured (both physically and emotionally) .Lots of natural ability and vision. |
