Well Castleford have never had a crowd below 4000 in any of the Super league years, I feel saturday may well be the first.
I have watched Cas for well over 50 years, on Saturday I will be going to Doncaster Rovers v Colchester in the Football league Division1. I never thought I would do that as I am a Leeds United fan.
But with the rubbish that is being played at the moment, with that muppet in charge, I feel I will be better off there.
My crowd estimate

3888

Nope.
Off to london tomorrow for 3 days.

I do think it will be over 4000 but not by many.

On the topic of crowds, Huddersfield's crowd against Widnes on monday? Dour, a team 2nd in the league against a Widnes side who'd turned over Wire the game before generates just 4,600. Probably a similar crowd Saturday but obviously we're on the tele.

Yeah, I suspect a few hundred will have been knocked of the Wakey crowd to allow for that. Even then we could see record low figures for both the Hudds/Widnes If so I'm sure that in years to come those who did turn up will feel better about themselves for being there when so many others weren't. Anyway I'll cling to that thought after another £19 goes down the pan
