It’s the way he put it that got to me, I would not be bothered if he had said it in a different way. A simple “As sad as it is I will not be supporting Wakey tonight” would have done.

I'm on about you and other Wakey fans who might feel a bit guilty for saying they hope and want a Wakefield win tonight.

It'll be a sad and sombre night but when that hooter goes I imagine it'll be business as usual (or at least that'll the aim) for the Trin lads.

Danny Boy could have worded what he posted more sensitively, I agree.

Like I said not fussed about a win and I do mean that. Although a win would be great I would much prefer a top game of rugby.

Be a weird feeling tonight that is for sure. I just hope our fans turn up in force and get behind the lads more than ever as they need our support

I don't mind you not supporting Wakey, that would have been ok but saying you wanted us to lose by a big score etc is a bit off IMO

I am not a Wakefield supporter, never will be, I fought hard to ensure we didn't merge all those years ago!

I am a Castleford supporter, so can't contemplate supporting Wakefield in a game. If shouting for Wakefield tonight could bring back poor Leon, then I would shout for Wakefield, but it won't, so I won't.

I do however, like to see a good game of rugby league and hope it's a good spectacle tonight, but with a favourable result for Cas, but again I reiterate that it is unrelated to Leon and anyway, it doesn't matter what I want or don't want to happen tonight, as nothing I can do or say will have the slightest impact!

The result should not be effected by Poor Leon's passing, but could be, positively or negatively, I am not hoping for a decent margin win because of Leon's passing, it is totally unconnected, when will you get that?

As far as Leon's parents are concerned, I really feel for them, as I've already said, but tonight's game is nothing when compared to the life of their poor son. I hope the minutes silence is strictly observed, that will be more important than the game for his poor parents and family.

The result will be inconsequential to them.

Give it a rest, "danny boy1" has put a fair response on here explaining how he feels. All you are doing is making things worse by trying to score points by taking the moral high ground which makes you nothing more than a hypocrite.

Wanting us to lose by a big score line would make it a even more tragic week for the club, whilst putting in a good performance and a quality game would mean we give a good tribute for Leon in front of his family who will be at the game tonight.

I have every faith in the lads that they will do well tonight, ethier way I will clap them off as I am very proud of them. They have had to deal with a lot of adversity in recent weeks and months and they have done so in way that makes all supporters of Wakey feel very proud

I am sorry but I don't think any of this is appropriate at this time, so pack it in the lot of you or the thread will be locked

It is unbelievable that some people feel the need to make such posts.... have some respect

I do have respect, hence wanting a good quality rugby league game tonight rather than a win.I just want a good game to pay Leon a good memory in his familys presence

Any way, I won't post again on here so don't worry about that.
