Just starting to blow out a bit now but with a bit more luck could have won this one. No real idea why we're wasting JwH on the wing but some great individual performances and a lot of grit shown in defence against a bigger team. Brilliant individual try from Hursey - where has he been all season. Not always been Davies biggest fan but thought he was outstanding tonight. Olly Ashall Bott difference between the teams with his pace from fullback and distribution. Actually looking forward to the bulls game now if they can play with that commitment

Aye, I thought we gave it a decent go. A few bits of lazy defence apart we looked as though we could match them at times. As said by Ilkley, why on earth was JWH on't wing? Let's hope the lads give us summat to cheer us all up next week. Up The Fax!

I thought we played really well apart from the lazy kick chases which probably ended up costing us the game. It must have been needs must with team selection, presuming Kav still refusing to play or not been selected for that last week, Salty we have to assume he was injured because having him as 18th man and making Woody play on the wing just seems stupid especially when it was hard to notice Morgan playing. Not sure if Gee is injured or if its just a case of him going through the motions before his move to Bradford but I thought Hursey and Hird both did okay.

Thought we did well in a lot of areas, poor discipline cost us with penalties late in the tackle count carrying them down the field for 2 or 3 scores.
Jouffret missing 3 kicks and just being caught and impeded deliberately which the guy should have been in the bin for when backing up Ben Tibbs break played a part.

On the other hand they should have had another 6 points if he hadn't dropped the ball cold when putting it down so it all amounts to the expected loss and a - 20 points on the for and against table.

In team selection for the Dewsbury game when asked why he had made some changes from the win at Doncaster in the post match interview Finn clearly mentioned that Davies had a injured knee and hadn't been able to run and Ben Kavanagh had been playing with an achilles heel for a few weeks and was struggling on his feet as well.
He was at the Dewsbury game in and around the dugout pre match and with the others throughout the game.

Why would anyone just make things up and say he was refusing to play with everything else that's going?

Yeah its a strange one especially when it has come from someone at the club. Hard to believe what is true and what isn't when it comes to things coming out of the club at the moment. As you probably already know most of the players were refusing to play a week last Wednesday so it was touch and go if the game went ahead at all.

Yes we know what the situation was last Wednesday before the game against Dewsbury but it did go ahead and Kav didn’t feature in that game or against Toulouse because he was injured and not for refusing to play as you stated.

Of course Liam Finn could have been lying in his interview and with a busted squad fighting for there lives could have just left him out as punishment.

Yeah I think Finn has done a good job protecting him but at the end of the day its hard to blame any player who does not want to play if they are not getting paid. Its a tough sport and the players don't get paid nearly enough.

It's even harder to blame any player for doing something he hasn't done and to then to back that up with the coach is lying to protect him but someone still manages it.

Especially when it's a tough sport and the players don't get credit enough for sticking with the club when things are tough.

Hard to believe anything coming out from someone on here but true to form and as before we await the next victim.
