Well, it's been a long time since we visited Donny for a league game and Sunday's trip is a real four pointer. Going on this season's home fixture this is one we should be confident of winning but our form lately dosen't suggest owt barring another embarrassing defeat. Players injured, missing or just going through the motions dosen't auger well but it was similar before the home game and we blew them away. I'll go for Donny 20v20 Fax. Up The Fax!

Last time I went to the Eco we played Sheffield and lost ( not that has any bearing on owt ) and I seem to remember there was another game played?

We got the result in the home game but had a big contribution from the Leeds DR crew so back to anything can happen this weekend.

We should beat Dewsbury and we all know the importance 2 points is from any of the other games as should the players starting Sunday.

I wouldn't say a defeat would be embarrassing, Donny aren't that bad and recently beat Toulouse so I'd actually have them down as favourites with home advantage. But I'm strangely confident and I'm going for Donny 18 Fax 26.

I get your point but not being embarrassed by losing to Doncaster just goes to show how far we have fallen. Sad times but...Up The Fax!

A Tony Fisher coached Donny gave a good account of themselves that season and Jamie Bloem was their star player who seemed to play like a man possessed at full back. I think he got banned for a year or 2 for drugs, however. And IIRC the reason we drubbed them 72-0 was due to bouncing cheques. Their players really didn't care - I remember them retreating to their half thinking they'd scored (or summat like that) when they obviously hadn't and our players charged like the light brigade after a tap on our own line for a full length of the field try. I got threatened in their club house after the match by a donny fan who accused me of staring at him. (or was that when we lost 12-6, can't remember).

If I remember correctly that 0v72 game, we were in't car on the way back listening to radio Leeds and a Doncaster fan came on claiming they had been robbed due to a Dons player being sent off Lol! What he didn't mention was the score was summat like 0v50 at the time of the sending off!
