Just announced no feed or recording of tonights forum - not a good look for the club when it's arranging this to improve communication with fans. Updates from anyone attending appreciated.

Looks shady. We don't help ourselves at times. I'm sure it could have been recorded on a phone as a back up.

Just got back from the forum , lots of ideas and positivity but ultimately no brass , no new signings and the board basically pumping money in to keep the club afloat but been slagged off , plus Finn getting told off by Hilda for walking around the south stand and not been with the players. We have a payment plan agreed for the rent arrears and the purchase of the stadium is on going . I will have a think and post some more information if I can remember tomorrow.

If there’s no new signings doesn’t that contradicts the Eden departure comments short term and longer term the post on fans Facebook about the group who had been told by a club official that they had been chosen as sponsors of a new signing for this season to be announced at a later date, which you will have seen?
And a rhetorical, in the meantime how do they expect to get through the season with just the squad we have available?

Aye but said the same after the triple injury cup game that he and Durgan were scouring the game for additions and more recently that they wouldn’t let Eden go without securing a replacement because of having a small squad and the injuries.
It’s my understanding that the same club source who said Eden’s departure would be announced later that day also named his likely replacement so does it all add up?

It made no sense what the club said regarding waiting for a replacement for Eden, he clearly wanted out, the club may have still been paying him, he was never going to play for us again likely saying he was still injured, so could have been costing the club more money. We are not in a great place for wingers but we have two lads who are playing each week who can play on the wing and one of them would actually free up a spot for some of the forwards we insist on not playing, presuming they are not injured as well.

Must admit we didn’t/ don’t have a player lined up for Eden as that wasn’t how it was reported. Certainly no love lost as Finn said regarding Eden ‘ he might as well stand on the fev sidelines in his tracksuit than ours ‘ he also said during difficult times you find out who wants to play for the club rather than those just collecting a paycheque’
Apparently we’ve spent more on the playing budget than last year and prioritised quality over quantity which due injuries as backfired . Also heard Ian croad is back in the rugby negotiating side and durgan isn’t involved in that side of things anymore.

Tbh my highlight was rogerHarvey butting in telling Damien Clayton to stop using silly acronyms and talk normally . Half expected Clayton to pull a walkie talkie out of his pocket and say ‘ broadsword calling Danny boy broadsword calling Danny boy we have an intruder ‘ over

What was said about injured players- specifically when we might see Crookes and O'brien back?
