I think that is the problem though isn't it? Our main players that are injured are unlikely to either feature again this season or not be back until near the end.
I went to every game in 2003 and accepted that we were in a bad position, lost a lot of quality before the season started, had any quality we had left jump ship before the half way point, and ended up giving a lot of game time to a bunch of kids. In a strange way things feel quite similar this season except you look at our team and even though I think most of us agree it needs some changes, we still have better players than getting a drubbing at home to Sheffield or that second half against Widnes.
The most concerning thing is not been able to name a full squad most weeks and having to name players in the squad who the opposition will be well aware are not fit to play. What happens if we get some more injuries? We seem to be 1 or 2 injuries away from not even been able to name a starting 17.
I saw the statement that Lee Kenny put out and it was well put together but at the end of the day the results on the pitch matter and our coach is not been given the resources to put together a competitive squad and we could easily end up been around the relegation battle.
