Just read this article and it seems it’s not beyond the realms of possibilities that Keyes could be ready for Wembley, would you risk it in such a massive game or not ?

Personally i wouldn't take the risk purely because if he re injures himself he would be gone for the season and that would hurt us more.

Shades of Chris Anderson here. I doubt he will make it and wouldn't think it was the right decision to either. He was only just getting going when he got injured against Saints. Too much of a risk I believe. Lindley Liberal Club, Ossett White Rat 4.0% Mmm!

The operative word here is “RISK.”

If there’s any kind of risk involved neither Joe or the club will be taking one.

They all know the bigger picture of what’s at stake for him personally and the club.

Like with what has been said above, its nice for any player to play at Wembley but from a money prespective its a nothing game for us and its much more important that we finish the league campaign strong especially as we could be 8th after tomorrow so it would seem a bit mad to play him next week but we really don't know how far down the line he is.

Pec repair is usually 12 weeks recovery & rehab +/- a week or so. When was the injury?

I would say almost a zero chance that he plays especially after last week. Obviously we need to bare in mind that he wasn't playing that well before he got injured so would be a huge risk to be brought in to the team and just be able to be up to speed but not only that who is telling Pickersgill or JWH that they are not in the team after their performances at the weekend. I guess the other option would be really leftfield and bring Keyes in and have Woddy fill the centre spot that is available, its a position he has played but I think we lose a lot of his attacking flair there and it must be years since he last played there.

Not even under any form of consideration in my book..on Sunday's showing won't be in the team for a while even when fully fit....
