With our win at Whitehaven this match on Saturday has become hugely important. A good second half display and another runout for Joe Keyes in Cumberland augers well for the team's hopes for the season's run in but it all depends on this game. Toulouse are looking likely to get 2nd spot and may not be at full strength so it's definitely a game we can get the points from. Let's just hope we get a linesman who can see three foot in front of him. Lol! I'll go for a Fax win on Saturday evening, something like 26v14. Up The Fax!

Not sure on toulouses injury status but from there point of view there are two schools of thought , they could rest players as they're guaranteed to finish 2nd or they could look to finish our playoff hopes because regardless of our indifferent season we would still be one of their biggest threats if we met them in the semis .

All Toulouse's 6 defeats have been away (including the summer bash) so home advantage is more useful than usual.
Hope Toulouse will eventually get promoted to get them out of our league ...... having a foreign team in a part time league is so stupid it beggars belief, the travelling for part timers virtually gives them a guaranteed home win - their 12 home wins out of 12 so far says it all. Not to mention the costs. A total farce!
As for Saturday ....... Fax 24 Toulouse 18. Crowd 1,415 with zero fans from Toulouse.
Think we win this one given Toulouse will have a number of players missing and it just about being do or die for us.

I'm in agreement with that although a part of me wants Featherstone out of our division, if we can't go up, for different reasons.

I once played in a amatuer game in hull, and there was about a 10 minute walk from the changing rooms to there actual ground don't ask why. And the last part before the pitch we had to go under a small bridge with steep grass bankings either side were there fans would be waiting, lets just say it was as big a battle to get on the pitch as it was on it.

I wouldn't mind but most of these fev fans are built like deontay Wilders legs , high on coke and vexed on carling when they actually meet some proper lads they'll be obliterated

Last time I went to Fev was when Worrincy scored that great long distance try which helped us get into the qualifiers. I remember stumping up the fiver for car parking 'cos I didn't trust parking on the street at the mercy of the local scuffers. Also remember a fat fev fan goading the Fax fans in the stand.
My first visit was when Andy Fisher took Dave Watson's head off ..... he got sent off and the fev fans were applauding Fisher as he did the walk. Thoroughly unpleasant folk.
