An arrival talking about tackling below the arm pit and kick offs will be from the opponents 40 meter line. The high tackle I understand. They want kick offs to be from the opponents 40 meter line to reduce the speed of contact when a player catches the ball and the defenders tackling then. What a stupid idea. RL is a contact sport. We might as well just have tag rugby. I can’t put the link on here for some reason. They are going to trial it in the academy teams this summer. It’s on examinerlive.co.uk |
