It is hard to see past a Featherstone win in this one. They are starting to pick up a few injuries but have a deep squad so are well covered on that front and i have just read that Riley dean will not be available for them this week but they will still have a strong team out . From our point of view i do think we have it in us to score points against them even on the backfoot but the problem we had last time out virtually every time they got near our line they scored because of there physical dominance up front there was plenty of opportunity for them to do that. Somehow we need to find a way to front up to them physically which is easier said then done with us having a smaller set of players. I just want to see us go there and put in a better effort then last time and the game not be over by halftime if we can take them to the latter part of the game that would be a big improvement.

While obviously a Fev win is still the most likely option, they will be missing Aekins, Hankinson, Ford and Dean from the previous game against Fax, at least 3 of those being players that caused us the most problems last time out. They do have a huge squad and some quality to bring in, but every little helps. Against that they've got Moors and Springer coming into the pack so perhaps they won't need any backs.

Just seen the teams - really hope this is the game Will Maher shows why we signed him. Really pleased we've kept Inman in the 17

Well I’m wasn’t expecting that well done the boys. I followed the sportsman link and watched the game live, on my (52inch, not bragging) TV and free of charge. Well done the you tube sportsman Chanel. Great coverage and commentary. I really enjoyed what they produced. The Panthers win was the cherry on top. We played well and defended well. A few gaffs here and there. Keys off with his kicking again. Overall a top performance. Great trys by Walmsley and Jouffret.

Big plaudits to the much maligned forward pack, other than a couple bursts from Springer thought we were well on top, and could have won more comfortably had it not been for some errors in the last 5 minutes that kept letting Featherstone back in. Accept I'm totally biased but thought Fax were by far the better team, a fact graciously acknowledged by Long after the game. Thought Calcott had a storming game, especially his drive leading to Inmans try; Brandon had by far his best game of the season and Inman now offers a perfect foil to him. For the first time this season could probably praise contribution of almost every player - really looking forward now to Keighley in front of what should be a good sized crowd.

Great win for fax , both teams guilty of handling errors and conceding needless penalties. I think Tom inman is gonna be a star for us , such skill and composure for a young lad . This ll give the team some much needed confidence going forward.

Well done fax that's a cracking result. I hope the fact that we gave them a game last week and you turned them over today, gives everyone in the Championship an injection of positivity about playing Featherstone. They are the best side in the comp, but not the unbeatable machine people had us believe.

That was a turn up for the books and much more like the performances we saw from the middle of last season. Very pleased that our pack stood up this week as it was very much a case of about time. Ive no doubt that we play the better rugby than Fev but that is hard to do when your pack is not giving you a platform but today was much more like it. I thought there were some really good performances in there from Fairbank, Murray, Gee who probably have all not been up to the standards we are used to but shows how good they can be. Still a lot of silly mistakes in there which lead to a nervous last couple of minutes but I thought we were good value for our win and is it a case of again other team fans writing us off way too early.....

Great result coming from a much better display from the pack against the bigger Fev front unit who missed the experience of Lock and Kop and suffered in direction / fluidity from the disruption to the halves with Keyes and Jouffret linking better for us with the forwards and backs.

Tit for tat in the penalties / dropped ball department with Briscoe having the highest number of errors albeit whilst under some pressure and Tangata and LJ being the highest in significance whilst being under no pressure leading to a true Fax “ let’s give everyone a heart attack style conclusion” with Louis going from winning it to almost binning it in the space of 5 mins.
