With our season over the club can start to look forward to next year and Halifax’s 150th anniversary as a rugby club. What are people's thoughts as to how this historic occasion should be marked? I'll start off with perhaps a pre season friendly against an England, Yorkshire or SL champions side. Let's aim high and make next season an unforgettable one in Fax's history. |

Good idea, albeit Salford, St Helens and Wakefield were also formed in 1873, along with Millon ARLFC. |

Agreed get in before the others do! How do we know things are not already underway, as the information highway seems to have stopped. |

I presume the club do have plans, i'm pretty sure there will be some retro merchandise for example. It has all gone very quiet though. Hogshead, Sowerby Bridge. Elland Blonde 4.0% Mmm! |

I was thinking more on the lines of a mini tournament pre season, Touch type 20 minute games , make it a celebration day maybe the teams wear the original colours / design kit , Most of all make affordable for people to come, no point in charging 20 quid a pop and only getting a few thousand, say a fiver and fill the ground. Get people down to enjoy the atmosphere, What does the Shay hold 11,000? |
