Well with the rumours of potential new players coming in for next season and on the Halifax town forum suggestions we could be taken over by a nrl club which could of course be a wind up or not we have a game on sunday. Newcastle have not scored a point in there last 2 games and will be hoping next season is a lot better then this one as been for them. I can only see a big win for us on sunday i will go for a score of 50-6 for fax.

Fax need to keep in mind last season where we had a 0-32 win up at Newcastle but struggled at home before doing the double with a nervy 14-12 victory. That being said we should be able to see a team off with ease whose last two games have been lost by a total of 0-144 points. Could we make it a hat trick of scoreless games for the Thunder? I will go for a good Fax win by 42v12. Up The Fax! :thumb:

I ‘ll be honest I haven’t kept tabs on what Newcastle have been up to , they signed some pretty decent players but things for whatever reason haven’t clicked. They had an influx of loan players at one point but that’s obviously ended now . Anyhow fax should clinch this and put some daylight between our playoff rivals who have more difficult fixtures this weekend.

I sure SG will be drilling it into them not to take anything for granted and get the points.
After that he will want them to put in a as near as possible full 80 minutes.
How close we can get to that will be crucial come the play offs against the stronger opposition.

Nilling a team is always difficult. They may get a penalty or drop goal opportunity in a good position and, if they would rather not be nilled for the third time on the bounce, the instruction would be "Go for the sticks." That said, Bongser shouldn't be surprised were you to beat 'em to baht - for a FT team they look ragtag.

Fax will win comfortably. York have a big ask this weekend. Batley are up against a much improved Broncos but should nick it. Barrow v Fev? Fev just, as like as not so it'll be "As you were, gentlemen," with one less regular season round to go.

Kitchen Table, Bongser Towers, Shepherd Neame 1698, 500ml bottles, 6.5%, yummy :DRUNK:

Looks like the Newcastle team are not in a great place with the announcement they are going back to part time. I can imagine there’ll be a few miffed off players especially Ollie roberts who has just signed a long term deal as a full time player . https://twitter.com/m_shaw1/status/1559 ... de0oZu1lYA

What’s this about an NRL club? Have to sign in to read - not doing that and having them think they have more fans than they do! (What’s hidden behind the locked forum…?)

I would get excited about it. Rumours are just that. If something is going to happen it will and the club will tell us not someone putting a bit rumour on here and not telling the full story.
Will callcot resigned. :ROCKS:

It's just one of the Shaymen nutters taking the mick. How could it even be a thing?
