This is probably our biggest game of the season to date. Win this one and we get third spot which would be about where most folk would have us bearing in mind the money 1st and 2nd have forked out. Before the Barrow match I said our win at York a few weeks ago was one of our best in a long time. If we can repeat that day's performance we should be able to take the points on Monday. Let's hope that is the case and we give another good showing for the television cameras. I'll go for Fax by 14. Up The Fax! |

The bans for gwaze and worthington will start from the york game so both will be missing lets hope who takes there place performs well. As for the game i think we will have too much fire power for york they do have some players that could cause us some problems i just think we have more woody being fit would be a big help i will go for a fax win 30-16. |

Fax going well at the moment and a chance to take third makes this game even bigger than previously. I think it showed on Sunday how important woodburn hall is to our team especially offensively, Keyes , jouffret and woody so important to how we set up our plays with only Leigh unable to suppress our attack with aggressive line speed. Harris will cause us problems and we will have to watch the short kick in behind, looking forward to either gee or Kavanagh who’ve both been brilliant having a pop at Pauli Pauli who didn’t play in the away fixture. Despite a potential backlash from York after their defeat to barrow I think fax take this one 30-12 . |

It's going to ba e warm 'un and the use of subs will be crucial tonight. Also ball retention will be key so as to help with maintaining energy levels. As usual the team that makes least mistakes will probably come out on top. Video set to record and The Three Pigs is beckoning. Up The Fax! |

Excellent performance in draining conditions - the incredible defensive effort for 15 mins at the end of the first half, culminating in Walmsleys try saver, probably won them the game. Joe Keyes given MOM, and while he had an excellent game, several others could easily have been given it. Thought Tangata had his best game for ages in defence and attack - still running hard at the end, thought Arundel also had his best game in a Fax shirt - and finally can we please sign up JWH for another couple of years - he is absolute class. |

I must say the coverage on premier sports was very complimentary and overall there s is a better version than sky sports. I actually didn’t think we were as free flowing as normal but I put that down to some great defensive by York , there was a few times when they read the woodburn hall/ tibbs play and the fact it was so bloody warm . I think I’d nearly chewed all are lasses nails off with that defensive display at the end , although I’d like to see our penalty count , if we have aspirations of beating fev we are gonna have to brush up on our discipline. All that pressure started because of an incorrect ptb( although I do find that particular rule a bit of a coin toss , I don’t think Pauli Pauli played the ball correctly all night) both their tries were very suspect too . Overall a very gritty performance in the conditions and the players are definitely on board with the coach , I think special mention to Scott Grix who’s got the lads super fit which is paying dividends. |

Quality defensive performance and I agree I don't think we were at our attacking best but still managed what turned out to be a convincing win. I think we can totally ignore Leigh as they are by far the best team in the division but we need to crack on and get 3rd now which would likely mean Barrow at home and then Fev away which I think we would be capable of springing a surprise. To get 3rd by the time we play Fev at home last game of the season our form would be something like 20 from 21 games which would be amazing but I think this team has it in them. |
