I can see this being a tough match Whitehaven should of got a bit of confidence from there win last week and it will be interesting how we respond to our good hiding at leigh. All being well it wont have dented the players confidence too much and we can get back to winning ways on sunday i will go for a panthers win 16-28.

That's just about as I see it. There's no reason whatsoever for confidence to be knocked, we won't be the last team to get hammered by Leigh this season. Straight back on't 'oss for the lads. Up The Fax! :thumb:

: Quite happy with that result, it was just about as I expected. It sounds like a decent all round performance in poor conditions and sets us up nicely for another good run of games and results to keep us in the play off positions. Up The Fax! :thumb:

We started off well getting the ball back from the kick off and tibbs scoring out wide. But for most of the first half we struggled to get out of our own half the wind and the rain were in our faces for the first forty. And whitehaven have some big players and scored a couple of crash over tries. In the second half we turned the tables on them with some strong defence pinning them in there own half they only really got out on the back of us giving away penalties but we held firm. We lost salty and kav to injury so all in all a decent win we have a couple of weeks off now before we face barrow away on a monday night which will be a tough test they seem to have found some form i can see that game being a high scoring one the main thing is we come away with another 2 points.

Good to get straight back tonight winning ways and a crucial 2 points that we didn’t get last season.

Arrundel and worthington need to play in the centres for me as Tibbs is not big enough.

Not sure that was the best team selection possible looking back we got away with it.

Was not are best performance and will need to be better against barrow

Think Tibbs has performed well and been one of our most consistent performers. Arundel needs to do more for me. Not really shown any attacking prowess .

I agree , tibbs bided his time well and has played pretty well , noticed arundal played in the hudds reserves last week , arundal is sound defensively but I think Grix wants a bit more from him .

Arundel looks like one of those players who are o.k. if you're happy to plod around mid table to play off positions. I want more from a Fax player.
