On the face of it this should be a comfortable Fax win, but we've had some really tough games against The Rams at The Shay recently. We have though hit a really good vein of form and I can see us boosting our points difference in this one. I'd keep the same team barring injuries to keep the momentum going and would hope for a home win by thirty points. Up The Fax!

Yes an interesting match up and no disrespect to dewsbury but this one should be a win for fax although no push overs has they have proved against Featherstone and barrow. I think both sides have brought the game forward as we have Leigh away and they have Whitehaven at home and both sides appear to have their next opponents in mind. It’ll be interesting to see what team selection Grix goes with , obviously garside will be missing through suspension , how far from fitness are worthington and gee ? Do we protect Keyes n woody from injury and let Aston and Martin play ? Do we give Cole Oakley and Morris a run out ? Or is the risk of disjointing the squad too great . With one eye on Leigh who have 3 games in 8 days and a fair bit of travel , Tottenham stadium, barrow away then us at home, there’s certainly some questions to ponder . Hopefully leigh n Featherstone get into a 26 man brawl on Sunday and have a few binned , lol .
For me we have to pick the strongest side available for dewsbury and take it one game at a time not getting too distracted by the leigh game or we could lose to dewsbury. They need the points to try and avoid relegation so that makes them a dangerous side especially if we start thinking too far ahead. I was told at the york game that gee will get his first run out for us in this game if true that should offset the loss of garside. As long as we have our right heads on for this match i will go for a big panthers win 40-10.
While feel a bit sorry for Cory Aston hope we don't mess with a half back pairing that's really working. Really hope Worthington and Gee are fit to play as this could be a great opportunity to bring them back in. Didn't go last week so can't comment on Roberts performance- in the past been impressed with him and would expect him to play. Real balancing act this week between keeping squad fresh and not upsetting the balance that's brought success over last couple of months.

Absolutely, who'd be a coach? Personally I would keep the spine of the team as it is. You can't beat continuity. Up The Fax! Cheery Tree shuddersfield Ilkley Mary Jane 3.5% Mmm!

I imagine Aston has been brought in to rest Wood and Arundel has been a disappointment so far but maybe he is carrying an injury. Roberts was anonymous against York and looked short of fitness so hopefully he can show more of what he can do in this game. Good to have Worthington back, we have missed his defensive qualities and have looked a bit soft on the edges at times.

Arundal failed his hia against York after picking up a head knock . Looking forward to seeing worthington especially with better halfbacks in the squad this year and walmsey will get good service from him . Roberts did ok against York and can see him being a handful with some match fitness under his belt ( rumour on Huddersfield fans forum is he’s off to Newcastle eventually, how much truth to that who knows) gee being back with kav fit and we already look better on paper in the 2nd row . Personally hope woody n Keyes play . Interesting that he’s dropped Kyle wood which either means he’s gonna play Brandon for the full 80 and have an extra forward or give Aston some game time partnering Keyes and use jouffret has a hooker . Some interesting choices to be had but good the squad is coming to full availability.
