Here we go again , despite a relatively successful season for Halifax we’ve once again been dismissed in competing at the very top

I tend to agree with the predictions , though I’ve often been proved wrong , this coming season will be a very open and competitive one , my Club Leigh were described as being in disarray by a Fax sage a few weeks ago , yet we are looking strong now with about 5 more signings yet to be announced .
I do think Fev , York ,and Newcastle will be following us , with Fax , Widnes , Bradford and London close by , and don’t discount Batley , should be a very close season .

If we finish 6th it would be a disaster of a season really given how much better our team looks compared to last year. We should be there or there abouts come the playoffs.

Here is how i think the table will end up.

1 fev
2 halifax
3 leigh
4 batley
5 newcastle
6 bradford
7 york
8 whitehaven
9 widnes
10 dewsbury
11 barrow
12 workington
13 sheffield
14 london
As greg says 6th would be a very poor season for us in my eyes we should be top 3 and hopefully closing the gap on fev.

Could we finally top the table for the first time?
1) Halifax.
2) Leigh.
3) Featherstone.
4) Newcastle.
5) Bradford.
6) Widnes.
7) Batley.
8) York.
9) Whitehaven.
10) Sheffield.
11) Dewsbury.
12) London.
13) Barrow.
14) Workington.

It's Serious About Rugby League. They are the archetypal clickbait site, they know very little about RL, and if you're worried about "being dismissed" by them then you've presumably never seen any of their "content" before.

On a serious note, it's probably still a bit early to be making predictions with any degree of confidence, Leigh will clearly be adding more players and much will depend on their quality, they are getting there now in terms of having a strong team but the ones still to come will dictate whether they strengthen their position as favourites or merely look contenders.

There's also details of various DR/loan arrangements (which will be very similar this year with loans effectively the same as DR after the first 2 weeks), but I don't think they will have a huge impact on the overall strength of many teams.

Not ‘ worried ‘ in the slightest but there’s an assumption that York and Newcastle are somehow gonna be new forces to be reckoned with completely not acknowledging it takes a bit more than signing some ex superleague stars to win the championship, it was a strange season last year for everyone and now Toulouse are out of the way I’m interested to see how it goes . Featherstone set the benchmark but I’m not convinced York and Newcastle are gonna be has high has some people have them . As regards the website yes I am new to some of them however everyone’s entitled to their opinion .
