After yesterday's poor but not unexpected performance we have Swinton Lions at The Shay next Sunday. Hopefully with a couple of players back and some knocks healed we can get back on't horse and start a good run again. Swinton have had a slight resurgence lately but their loss yesterday means they will be in Championship 1 next season. This could take the pressure off them or be demoralising, it's up to Fax to be clinical and make sure it's the latter. Presumably Robinson will be back to give us some more direction and we can get the two points to get us rolling. I'll say Fax 32 v12 Lions. Up The Fax! |

We need a big improvement this week last week was unacceptable. Hopefully they have had a good kick up the backside and respond in the right way. I will go for a fax win 30-10. |

Another optimistically complete squad - while not wanting to give the opposition any advantage it would be nice if fans could be given an idea of who is genuinely in contention to play. Jones named again - if he doesn't make the 17 with all the players apparently knackered then I can't see he has a future at the club. Disappointing if this is the case as before his injury he looked to have a lot of promise. |

Some players have been conspicuous by their absence, Jones, Rawsthorne, with little said about what's happening with them. Saw the Bulls brought in a lad from Hull in the front row. We haven't made any moves with little given as to the reason why. |

Not a clue what is wrong with Rawsthorne as the club don't really say anything but by all accounts it could be long term. Jones just been named to make up numbers along with one of the Davies twins who got concussion last week. I guess we are naming full squads just for the integrity of the competition as Swinton will obviously know with probabl;y 90% certainty who won't be playing. |

If you listen to simons lastest interview he says we are still looking to bring players in but super league clubs are reluctant to let anyone go because they have games coming thick and fast. Which is a change from last week when we where not looking to bring anyone in because in is words it would compromise the integrity of the competition to bring players in on loan so late in the season even thou other clubs are. Just like bradford have by bringing in a prop from hull for the rest of this season. As for rawsthorne i have heard he could be retiring at the end of this season to concentrate on is career outside of rugby weather this is true or not i would still pick him to play. |

I thought there was a deadline for signings in the championship - heard it mentioned several times but can't see anything official - hardly surprising as the RFL appalling at communicating anything that relates to the game - and even when they do they're quite likely to change everything for no apparent reason. |
