Should be looking no further than bringing in players for playoffs at this stage... |

Yes we need to hopefully be looking to strengthen for the end of this season considering the number of forwards we've lost from our original squad - Amir,Hewitt, Springer and Brearley, but it's also vital we're planning for next season which realistically is much more important for Halifax's future. Now it's confirmed just 1 up this season with presumably Leigh coming down, it's vital Halifax are well prepared to ensure a top 6 finish in what I think will be a stronger league, if as seems likely we move to 2 10 team leagues in 2023. Getting promoted this year would require a miracle and in my opinion be a complete disaster as we have nothing like the financial strength needed to put together a competitive superleague side. |

Unfortunately, i agree. We still have to aim as high as possible though. |

If i remember right gee played against us for dewsbury on dual reg from hull kr during last season that got cancelled. He came off the bench and played in the middle scoring a try from close range and also winning a couple of penalties which sykes kicked we did struggle to deal with him in the tackle. Just on what i have seen of him for leigh when he as played it as mainly been in the second row. I would say this would be a good signing and potentially a very good one but as with all signings time will tell. |
