Can Fax continue their impressive winning run? A repeat of our performance on Tyneside would do although with lads playing with injuries I would take a steady win with no more casualties. We are getting to the point of the season where we are looking towards the play-offs and could do with resting players although I doubt that is an option open to Simon Grix. Let's hope for our winning run to continue and I will go Fax 32v12 Newcastle. |

It doesn't seem 2 minutes since we played at newcastle the first game back for the fans and that was a good day out and even better result. We have larroyer banned for this one too which will stretch the squad even further. I will go for 34-10 to fax. |

Well this week's squad is out with little or no change - makes you realise how thin the squad is since losing Amir, Hewitt and Springer there's really no scope for change even though I'm fairly sure under normal circumstances several of the squad wouldn't be deemed fit to play. Larroyer out for 2 games with only poss Jones to cover - assuming Toulouse is off next week the 2 week break couldn't have come at a better time. Would be great if we could get Amir and Hewitt back by then - if not club needs to look elsewhere as otherwise we're in serious danger of running out of players. |

Stay focussed, start strongly straight out of the blocks and get it done. |

That was a bit too close but given the disruptions with Robinson then JWH I think we have to be happy with the 2 points and staying unbeaten. |

Yes a nervous end to the game, strange one really as we played well enough, better completion rate, less penalties and much the better field position, missed kicks could have proved costly. The pack ran hard enough and the backs put in another big shift. Hope we have a couple of weeks off to recuperate. |

The officials were bloody awful. The game result looks closer than how we played. Newcastle looked out on their feet in the first half. Salty, as everyone knows who was there, put in a massive shift. Having to move position but kept coming in for work and always made good meters. Didn’t see what Tangata was sin binned for but by the South stand reaction it was a bit of play acting for the Newcastle player. But we won and that’s 9 on the bounce. Does Any know the last time we had a 9 game winning run? |
