Heard he is off to a SL club this side of the pennines. Would have been a quality signing for us but doubt we will see him again as not to risk injury for his new contract.

That's a shame but not a surprise. I can understand players wanting to stay fulltime with the money and everything else that it brings for a player but what if he is in the same situation at is new club only playing a handful of first team games a season possibly being loaned out here there and everywhere. Would he not be better at this stage of is career dropping to the championship playing week in week out and then in the future getting another crack at super league.
