You would have this down as a run of the mill fixture with two points nailed on. All I can say is remember the Oldham game. We need to keep doing what we've been doing and go into the game with a professional attitude and we should be o.k. I'll go for Fax 34v14 Whitehaven. Up The Fax!

We’ve had some humdingers over the years with ‘Haven so I’m sure they’ll be up for it, we need to get the 2 points this week and then have a week off to recharge and go again. We should win and I’ll go for 34-8 but a win’s a win so another by a point will do me.

It would be nice if we could come out of the blocks firing from the start this week and not take 40 minutes to get going in attack. Our players particular 1.6.7.9 need to take the game by the scruff of the neck and not give whitehaven a sniff the more of a individual threat these players are the more joy we will have when we put the ball threw the hands. And it will reward all the good work being done by our outside backs and fowards who get us in good attacking positions. I will go for a fax win 40-10.

So no springer or bourouh this week but it is good to see larroyer and mcgrath back. If barber is fit he would play Centre for me if not i would try rawsthorne at Centre with mcgrath on the wing and mcomb to miss out. At hooker will brandon do the 80 or will curtis davies get a chance for me i would give him a go this week i think we are at the stage now were we need to know one way or the other can curtis or connor in the backrow get the job done if not they need to be playing more regular for there own good and maybe its time for them to move on.

Amir suspended for this one, guess Gadwin may be injured as he hardly had any game time last week. Grix's interview suggests Brandon playing with an injury - if so makes it even harder to fathom why he's doing 80 minutes most weeks when we have hooker available on the bench. If fit I would definitely bring Barber in at centre - I know most of the team weren't playing well st the start of the season but wasn't impressed with Rawsthorne at centre - his performances do seem to have picked up over last few weeks so I'd keep him in preference to Mcgrath.

Whitehaven have deffo stepped up, but get our right head on and it's a fax win but they may be tested if the mindset isn't correct

All Simon has to do to stop any complacency is stick the Oldham result on the dressing room door. :!:

Looking at the weather forecast I do not think Barber will be playing. He will be needed with his brush to sweep water away from the "conference corner"

A real arm wrestle and nerve shredder right up to the end.
Once again our defence was outstanding with another zero tries conceded and we stuck at it to finally get our noses out in front.
Main area of concerns were not completing again with the cheap turnovers regularly inviting Haven back on the attack.
