Regarding cas off to wembley again it would be interesting how a club similar to fax at Thrum hall with their own run down stadium have managed to be as they are whereas fax have just gone from level with Cas in the early super league days to mid to lower championship. Certainly much can be attributed to Powell as a coach. The only chance of fax breaking the downward spiral for me was Marshall but for some reason the bod at that time thought they could do better. I do fear for Cas and fax in the future. Today showed the impact of a coach on a clubs well being . |

Perhaps spending all their SL income on playing/coaching staff and not a penny piece on adhering to SL's own rules regarding their ground might have summat to do with it? |

Marshall getting found out at Salford with a lot of the same team that made a Grand Final and then a Challenge Cup final but now the only thing keeping them in SL this year will be Leigh? I feel for Grix in that he inherited an ageing team that was in desparate need of freshening up with a number of players that needed to be moved on. You can't question Marshall's faith in his players though no matter how misguided it were if anything he were too loyal which ended up been his downfall. |

being a castleford lad born and bred i am happy to see them get to the cup final it will do the club and the town to some extant the world of good. The other points about the differences between were they are now and us don't forget cas have been relegated a couple of times over the years themselves the screw job when wigan should of gone down but cheated the salary cap to stay up the big difference for me was on both occasions cas stayed full time and came straight back up and that was down to having wealthy owners in the Fulton's as for the ground they have been promised by the council for a hell of a long time a new ground but as of yet no joy |

I would also say regarding the stadium there will be people who no far more than me with what as gone there over the years and it would be good to hear there take on the new stadium situation but it is good to hear that wakefield will hopefully be able to redevelop there ground in the near future |
