Yep. More of the same in terms of integrity and attitude in the competitive performance areas Fax.

Lads were physical enough today and didn’t get run over but a big difference in class from the Championship and SL and it showed in attack with the Giants much quicker especially exposing our left hand side.
Robbo offered a bit in the second half with Will Calcott and the Davies lads doing okay.
Great to see Jermaine getting a good day to remember.

Its hard to say what we really got out of that game other than some players getting their first games out of the way and blowing off some cobwebbs. We looked ok when the Giants evened the skill levels up a bit making a load of subs and at times we defended well against the Giants starting line up. As mentioned the left edge had a torrid day with Gilmore, Tyrer, and Saltonstall struggling badly in the first half with every Giants try coming down that side. I still think there were enough promise shown to suggest we will do ok this season especially if we can add in 3 or 4 Giants players every week. Next week will be a truer test of where we are at.

Embarrassing really how much better than us they were.We only scored when they were practicing playing with 12 men(bit of a pizztake that imo)
Accepting we're using DR we have kept too many ordinary players as i suspected.Should have canned 6/8 of this squad in favour of 2/3 better quality.

Agree about maybe lessening the squad in favour of better quality but its hard to call it embarassing when you consider its rumoured that they are paying their new scrum half nearly as much as our entire squad. The gulf in class was massive but thats what money should buy you.
