On days like this you just wonder from an english perspective at the sense of having this fixture .now if it was held at Brighouse rangers that might be a tad less expensive.i can see the attraction of forming a sporting rugby league set up in canada but not in this league. Very aprehensive about todays scoreline.and the mental effect of yet another defeat on the team .

Hopefully the natives of Nova Scotia's Halifax might think it's a Canadian local derby and pile over in numbers to give our lads some much needed support.

I was getting ready watch the game on Sky Mix, and then discovered that they'd cancelled the broadcast due to "scheduling conflicts". Possibly for the best, as it's 22-0 now.

Tbf sounds a reasonably gutsy performance. Better than expected. But its still 5 in a row and it becomes harder to break the cycle . Widnes match starting to look significant in determining what the club does for next season on and off the field.

Relegation a possibility? Only Rochdale at home looks "fairly comfortable" and we're still in range of Barrow and Dewsbury.

Ten points to catch up in seven games.

Not sure that's even possible - it'll depend on who plays whom in the remaining games (which I can't be bothered to look up).

Teams in Canada definitely don't make sense to part-time clubs. I'm not even sure they make sense to full-time clubs. If the object is to have a North American league in a few years time, I'd run with that but the obvious problem in the meantime is that they can't play in February and maybe March.

The last thing you want is a rearranged game in Ottawa on a Wednesday night.....followed by a game in Toulouse on the following Saturday.
