My sources suggest that the BBC offered the RFL a 20 second season review on Sports Personality of The Year. They gladly accepted saying it was impossible to put a monetary value on what this was worth to the sport.

That is good news to me as it is still the best way that RL gets national coverage, even if the standard on the BBC is average!

Any time i can watch decent rugby on tv without having to listen to sky's Dick 'Eddie and Stevo gushing about how amazing expansion ideas and franchising has been for our sport is a good thing...

Normally BBC showed a game on Sat and another on sunday. can't remember SKY showing a challenge cup game before?

Was looking forward to watching that but will be at football.

Not a great time to show that game either way really when 1,000s are watching their football team or (for the 2nd half) the Grand National.

I fancy Fev to turn Cas over in that cup tie. I'm hearing that Cas wanted a £20 ticket price but they've managed to agree on £16. It'll certainly be a good old fashioned cup tie & considering we go to Fev a fortnight after I hope it goes to golden point and that lasts into sunday morning
