I never thought i would see the day when a pack of forwards containing Baz Smith and Jonny Simpson would overpower us up front like they did in the first half tonight.
I mean come on we beat em 72-0 at the Shay ! Wot is going on ??
Congrats to big Karl and Batley tonight.

Batley are different team from back at the shay.

Mount pleasant has become a fortress, interesting to see how other Championship sides perform there this season.

Exactly. What has happened to our pack. Speaks volumes when a workman like bottom 3 team can totally dominate our forwards.

was always that size but never made use of it enough, used to die in the tackle.

I have to agree with you there. He used to stop when the tackle was made and never made a bust. This year he seems to keep going when the tacklers hit him. Could that be down to the coach? Rhino was never one to take a backward step?

He's not unstoppable as you put it, huge yes !
I don't remember him smashing through our defence, he did his job with the ball that's all, but UNSTOPPABLE ???

Baz Smith smashed nobody last night, I remember distictly him getting butter fingers when running at Saeeeeeed and then traffic warden-ing him through when Saeeeeeed scored late on.

Some folks are getting a bit carried away, oh and none of you mentioned our former reserve Mark Barlow at centre.

That slope is truly horrendous and can make matches a tad farcical. I was trying to assess the steepness on the tellie last night ... just looking at the stretch from one end of the main stand to the other looks a 20 foot drop on it's own. I might be exaggerating but I bet the drop from end to end is 50 foot. Any anoraks out there who can enlighten us?

but what has the slope got to do with missed tackles?

come on boys sort it outif we win the last 2 a glimmer of hope might be resurrected for the playoffs
