matt calland has a real job on his hands we turned up tonight and expected to win i know am stating the obvious but against a better team tonight we would have been out of the game by half time.

much improvement needed better second half performance but need to work on the handling skills it was like the ball was on fire and no one wanted to catch it.

dont think they were complacent. players seem down since cas game. when scored try there were only few congratulating, scorer where few weeks ago all players ran to celebrate. need the team morale back like was before cas game.

they played like they thought they only had to turn up and win tonight and were a bit like that on sunday as well. the handling has gone completely over the last 2 weeks we couldnt catch the ball and complete the passes better.

maybe your coaches comments a couple of weeks ago had some bearing on how they have turned up to the last 2 games

If yer gonna troll at least try and be witty or summat, infact I can't even believe I've replied to this junk. But IMHO that Cas match really knocked the stuffing out of the players, nearly beating a SL team in their own back yard, abit like Barry McGuigan doing a few rounds with Mike Tyson, 2 extremely talented boxers, but Tyson is 6 stone heavier due to pumping iron (like cas) as well as being naturally bigger of course. This 2 week break will hopefully heal the bruises and pep the lads up, great season so far, a bit flat tonight but still won comfortably. UP THE FAX!

To be fair to Matt, the league was getting boring. No-one likes a walkover. At the request of the RFL, he was merely giving opposition teams a bit of a lift - just to make it interesting for the fans, sponsors and Thursday nights. Great foresight by the RFL, well executed by Matt and a nice little boost for Sheffield. Big rap for the trolls too, for sucking it all up
