FYI, I've just sent this email to the RFL as I believe we've been hard done to:

"Dear Sir,

Could you please explain to me why Halifax RLFC have been given 4 points in the above index for the sending off of Miles Greenwood in their home game against Doncaster. These points were added as “sending off sufficient” when the actual verdict was “no case to answer” meaning that the aforementioned player did not have to go before the Disciplinary Panel as the referee, Mr. Hicks, had clearly got it wrong. Surely these points should not stand?

I would be grateful for your thoughts on this."

I probably won't get a reply but it's worth a go.

Idid that, about Dennis Moran, at leigh, last season, and the points were deducted. Mind you, we still finished bottom! :D Actually, I'm not sure how we avoided relegation from it!
