That crowd figure seemed to be Halifax top crowd in there heyday. However you took 20-30,000 fans to wembly in 87 and 88 :shock:

Was going to say that myself Jeff. Used to get 4-6000 when we were in the 2nd division if I recall correctly

I think you'll find all teams get a lot of glory supporters when they get to Wembley.

The figure of 10,000 was limited by the official capacity of Thrum Hall.

I'm sure Piston Broke could elaborate further on this point particularly a cup quarter final against Saints around 1991?
