Oldham vs Featherstone even though Halifax vs Leigh is the tie of the round. Last season, Salford & Dewsbury (Stevos club) were featured nearly every other week. |

Think it's a fair enough call....hopefully Oldham can give them a game and there be at least a chance of an upset. Will not look great on TV though with thousands of empty seats at Boundary Park (or is that Murrayfield in a few weeks?????) |

Oldham wanted to play the game at Sedgely Park which is where they tend to play games away from Boundary Park when they need to. However its not upto Sky's Standards, Floodlights ect. They had 24 hours to find a Venue, Rochdale and Stalybridge Celtic turned down the chance to host the game, citing (football) off season pitch maintinence as the reason, so Leigh was chosen as theres not a lot else near thats upto standard and could be arranged quick enough. |
