I was laughing on Monday...something which is the prerogative of winners of course. At the end of the game their PA was churning out a recorded message about RL being a family game etc as the same time as a speccie in the dressing room area spat at me and called me a "lucky Yorskhire b******". I mean...Yorkshire? |

I saw that too, what a couple of muppets, although only one of them had the spheres to mouth off to Worrincey. Credit to Worrincey for just smiling and waving goodbye to him. Set of idiots, but I did speak to a few of their fans during the game and they seemed ok overall. |

Set of idiots, but I did speak to a few of their fans during the game and they seemed ok overall. The majority of them are, most of the fans their are knowledgable and genuine, but like most clubs they have their knobheads. One took great pleasure in telling me that we were lucky and how an 18 yr old had scored 3 tries past us, I just reminded him that next season when he's gone, they'll do nothing. and he soon shuttup |

It should have been stamped out by other fans or the club before it got to a stage where the player felt he had to leave. The fans responsible should hang their heads in shame. |

Its the first case i can think where abuse on a web forum has led to a player leaving a club. Although there was also things said on the terraces. We've been pretty nasty towards players in the past on this forum (Lawford for example) but the stuff posted was more about what he was doing on the pitch than personal insults. Then their was the time when some planks were ringing up Jamie Bloem in the middle of the night to give him abuse. I think at some point during most players careers they are likely to come in for some abuse, though you don't normally expect it from your own teams fans. Most rise above it though. |

That`s another reason why things like the back of the South Stand incidents needed stoping as soon as they start ,now thanks to the vigilance of the fans around that area it apears to be much better.Otherwise the hotheads just think they can get away with it, noticed in the Worrier tonight there is a letter from a lady whose 2 sons and husband went to the Shay on Saturday. The 2 lads it seemed got free tickets needless to say they left early they were so apalled maybe our club should send them a couple of tickets to our next match ,but make sure they sit in the Skircoat. |

Totally agree, I have notcied a lot more youngsters coming down to games. These are the future of the club & the club & us fans know this. |
