Post subject: | This Week and the Championship |
All been well come Sunday Tea Time we should be top of the League. This Weeks Fixtures look like this- Thursday- Gateshead v Sheffield, 19:30 Fri - Widnes v Batley, 19:30 Sat- Toulouse v Leigh, 15:00 Sun- Halifax v Doncaster, 15:00 Whitehaven v Featherstone, 15:00 Gateshead and Sheffield could go either way, though I'd expect Sheffield will be the stronger side and take the points, perhaps Gateshead will hold on for a Bonus Point though could really do with a win as if Toulouse win it could leave Doncaster and Batley 4pts ahead of them (should the achieve bonus points, unlikley in Batley's case) and the Thunder in real trouble Batley might as well not bother turning up @ Widnes if they are going to play like they did vs us or Toulouse, I'd be surprised if they concede less than 60. Leigh will probably have a tough time in Toulouse this weekend, Toulouse only just lost to Sheffield over there and after the rampant win at Batley will be looking to build some form, Leigh are no mugs though as proved with their victory over Widnes Halifax should beat Doncaster quite comfortably I'd imagine, no disrespect to Donny but they only just beat Sheffield last week, however they nealy staged a comeback against Widnes on their own turf, I think Home advantage will make it safe for Fax. With Barrow on a Bye week, a Win will see Fax top the Championship table for the first time this season. Featherstone will be out for revenge at the recre after they got mauled by Haven a few weeks back, but we all know how tough it is to go there. |

Batley have a new coach in Karl Harrison so that should perk them up a bit. |

Not too sure if they have announced it yet. The other forum were touting Harrison or Dean Sampson to step in. No announcements on their website or in local press yet |

No announcements on their website or in local press yet Rhino would have to stand down from his post at Huddersfield first. |
