Excellent reading, but about time more people came down to the shay to watch the excellent and exciting rugby and appreciate the hard work the club and coaching staff have done to build such a talented and exciting side. I thoroughly enjoyed the game tonight and must say it was worth every penny of the admission fee.

What's most impressive is that we have conceded the least points and scored 2nd most. And we haven't had the easiest start to the season :D

We took a car full and ours is a 7 seater and there is usually only the 2 of us but they are all wanting to go again so that`s a bonus .I too wish we could get more down but I don`t think it was too bad a crowd to say Batley did not bring anyone.Last week I saw several people I know who had given up going ages ago and they were there again tonight. So if the players continue to play well on the pitch we will keep them coming back. Also remember only 3yrs ago you hardly saw a child down there now there are lots.

Nigel Wood & Lewis have cost us a few more 1000 folk through the gates though.

I started bringing my two boys at the end of sthe season before last. It's a 140 mile round trip for a home game and the only commection they have with Halifax is me being born there. They both absolutely love it though (youngest has put Halifax RLFC as fave team on his My Face or Spacebook page(rather than Sheffield United)
I have also noticed the increase in kids wearing Fax shirts. More women and girls are coming down as well

The club are doing a blinding job at attracting fans young and old. I think the snowball is rolling now......

A cup final will help :l :D

Table updated now,

Sitting in 3rd Place with the second highest points scored total and the lowest conceded. Well done Fax !

Last nights result did our points difference a massive boost, I worried that Widnes's 70-0 thrashing of Toulouse would be hard to catch, but thats wiped it clean.

Bit Disappointed that with a win on Monday we won't go top, Unless Leigh and Barrow draw.

Our average attendance in our last Super League year was 2,990. Our poor performances relegated us from Super League. I do not have much regard for Mr Lewis or Mr Wood but they didn't cause our support to wane - our perfomances did that i'm afraid.
