They've just signed Richie Mathers so looks like they planned in advance.
Has he jumped or was he pushed? And why? Is it simply that he doesn't feature in Smith's plans or is there more to it?

Probably due to the court case he currently has.

True, he has pleaded guilty so I guess Warrington can punish him straight away, before the court decision.
Lets now get ready for every clubs forums to start the thread "Sign Reardon".

Personally I don't feel we need him or could even get close to the wages he would require!!

Still a quality player - if he can play centre. Would depend on what sentence he receives. I would guess if he doesnt get a custodial sentence and he is fit, there will be a number of clubs after him.

SL Clubs would obviously be favourites to sign him but wuth the current situation with KR, Cas and Saints, would any club want to tarnish themselves?
And like you said, fitness will be vital. Only 54 games in 4 years at Wire!!!That is shocking!

Without wanting to dwell too much on the Pryce/Reardon court case, Mathers has been very poor for Wigan in the games I've seen and I'm not surprised he's been booted out.
