if you read the fans comments on their message board & also txts in the Courier, they dont seem to have played well since the turn of the year. They are close to not even being in a play off spot now. Sounds like the board finally lost patience. |

Probably because he has managed to steer what should have been the top team in their division into a situation where they are unlikely to make the playoffs. With the other teams directly below Town all having a number of games in hand and them already slipping out of the play off spots it doesn't look good for first season promotion. He's been lucky to stay so long IMO. The way he criticises the players (and fans) on a regular basis has probably lost him the dressing room. |

That was hilarious reading. And the writing was on the wall soon as he said it to a journalist. They were about 8 points clear at the top in late novenmber and now aren't in play-off spot. But have to agree, sackinghim with only 4 games left was a little strange. |
