It doesn't get much harder in this league than Widnes home Barrow away for your first 2 games and we could quite easily be sitting on 0 points at the monent with our rivals on 9 points.. Luckily we have played some good rugby and ground results out and can be happy that we are still unbeaten 2009

Will make better reading when we're top. A good win tonight. Sounds like the sort of game we would have lost last season. I'm liking the new defence. Lets hope we find our attacking form soon!! Well done to everyone |

i think the closeness of the win tonight will be a reality check for some fax fans. we have just beaten a team who were second in the second division last year but who have recruited well and are especially hard to beat at home. they are a good side but so are haven widnes,leigh,fev et al. i think we will see a lot of close , competitive good games this year. |

Well done to everyone We did our best to try and lose it tonight, built no pressure whatsoever, apart from a 20 minute spell at begining of the 2nd half barrow were the better team. |

It's the chemicals in the air in that there Cumbriashire. It makes the locals Superhuman. The Barrow boys giving us a game and the Haven Holiday Camp Red Coats scoring tries for fun is one of the side effects. Bring em on at The Shay
