Setanta are cutting their NRL games down to 1 a week instead of the 2 or3 they can show. They advertise a minimum of 2 games a week for subscribers.
They are doing this for the next 2 months. Apparently they explained to a Wigan fan that they were covering extra Magners Rugby Union games.
I have sent a strongly worded email threatening to cancel my subscription if the NRL games are not reinstated. I would like as many as possible to email them and complain, if enough do it could possibly sway things.

With a bit of luck they will become victims of the current situation.
They are already being squeezed out on football.
Pay enough for Sky why pay extra to these Irish bandits? :x

Maybe Sky will pickup the State of Origin matches, cant see em wanting all the NRL matches but State of Origin would get some interest.

Setanta can go stick it up their .........

I got Setanta via freeview, but they neglected to tell me that viewing is restricted to between 1200 and 0300 so I would miss most NRL games and only get to see the occasional repeat 5 days after the game first aired. When I tried to cancel my subs, they claimed they never received my letter or emails giving notice to do so. I cancelled my DD, and they threatened to take me to court. Told them I would look forward to the summons with pleasure as I had a record of them replying to my cancellation emails and even giving a date as to when it would end.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again.

I've been told by quite a few people that satanta are struggling with money after spending big bucks on the prem and england fuzzball. Im hoping that nrl could be back on sky sooner than later if what i've heard is correct.

they lost out on the next round of premiership tv rights which would greatly affect who will subscribe, so much so that they were rumoured to have asked Sky to give up one of their rights packages so Setanta could continue to show live games.
