Obviously, as documented on other threads, Siddal were beat by Swinton 10-6.

Kells vs Hunslet Postponed due to Waterlogged pitch at the recre. What does that mean for Wath Brow vs Skolars?

Queens vs Doncaster (at the Keepmoat) abandoned after 63 minutes due to crowd trouble. score was 16-12 in favour of Doncaster.

Heard that it was boozed-up Queens fans fighting each other. Cops were called by a Donny fan because the stewards wouldn't do owt. The Police waded in with their night-sticks a couple of times as well.

From Reading the threads on the Virtual Terrace and the Donny board, thats about right, Apparently the stewards were more bothered about Donny fans with their feet on the seats while Queens "fans" were stood down the front banging hoardings, smoking ect, But the stewards wouldnt get involved and didnt want to call the police incase it made the situation worse,

Perhaps I'm wrong but, How many clubs have the Junior sides doing this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtAjIzO7MiY

I was at the game.queens supporters were appalling.drunk,foul mouthed,abusive.Stood at the front banging advertising boards,throwing beer,smoking. I saw a young dons supporter hit and a pregnant woman abused. Not enough stewards who were a waste of space anyway. Should have been sorted at h/t and the bar closed. Total pond life

That's disgusting! I hope there aren't many clubs doing this. I feel like reporting them! :shock:

no shocks that i can see in the other 3 matches today although i didnt expect widnes to win by that much and i expected them to concede at least 10

although i expect halifax can get close to there score tommorow although i dont think we will keep them to 0

Very sad, a bad day for RL and the amateur game (well its fans anyway).

On a positive note Siddal played a top game and what a great crowd at the Shay!

I've just read the report on the Donny V. Queens on the regional newspaper website, terrible state of affairs. If the suggestions are correct I would expect the RFL to throw Queens out of the Challenge cup and ban them from entering for a few years.
Urbancarrot is correct, Queens have always been an intimidating set of thugs to play against, it's bad enough on the field of play, but off it as well ??? Grow up and behave like adults !!!
