The BBC has decided to "adopt" Halifax RLFC for the duration of our cup run. What this means is that starting on Sunday there will be a film crew at the Shay to interview fans, record parts of the game, and then if we win they'll go to the draw with us and to the next game(s) until we either win it or are knocked out

so if you are interviewed on Sunday hopefully you'll be telling them how good it is and that more folk should start to watch us. . . please!!!!

Not only are we getting some good coverage from the BBC, but even the RFL are giving us some good press

Just to quote them

"The Halifax club are arguably the strongest team outside of engage Super League and a club with a superb pedigree in the sports most prestigious trophy. "

"In recent years the club has started to climb back up the league and under the careful tutelage of coach Matt Calland the club are threatening to once again knock on the door of engage Super League as they work their way to the top of the Co-operative Championship"

"Paul Calland, the Outlaws club captain and previous coach at Loughborough has an even bigger dilemma! His brother Paul currently coaches Halifax and the family pressure was reaching boiling point this week as the two brothers continues to wind each other up as the countdown to kick-off approaches!"

Did this mean to say Matt?
