Jeez we don't half have some hypocrites on here. I've seen several posts where certain folk weren't gonna go after "last season's shower of an effort in Sheffield". Oh, but I've probably been "on the pop" eh?, littledik?
was at the game today, some really good points to take from the game, but still too many stupid errors (17) according to matt on radio leeds
Tamghart and frank was amazing, still would like to see us have to get out of second gear

Not at all Tony. You're right, i bet a few didn't go. I didn't, as i have already alluded to in my post.
I see you've been stewing over what i said over a week ago, seeing as though you've dragged the quote out. Sorry petal.

good result today i expected a little bi closer match but we are better in the forwards this year so that probably counter acted the width of the pitch.

Despite the fact that a number of people on here didn't go today (free world free choice imo) we still outnumbered the Shaffield fans 2:1 in my estimation
as for the game Frank and Said tore them apart after their introduction after 20mins(ish). As Matt said on Radio Weeds we made loads of errors especially in the first half where we spilled the balll at least 4 times in their 20. Ben Black laid ona number of scoring passes but also sent out some dodgy passes which sort of summed up the afternoon really, excellent in parts but still making a number of errors. Govin had a bit of a nightmare before being subbed in the firstt half but he came up with a better showing in the second half.
My only real concern is the quality of our passing at times. Holly's gone and we have improved but I do think there is room for improvement in what I belive are now known as our pivot positions.
Sheffield were woeful, and having to play Gibbo who I guess has trained with them once is not a good sign, but I guess they will be alot stronger when their imports arrive (if ever)
Local government cutbacks = great unless you want your bins emptying or your vulnerable relative supporting

Think they are only waiting for two to come through - Some of the passing late in the 2nd half was fantastic. The pass from Patterson to Shad was brilliant.
Still looks like we havent quited clicked yet in attack, but once we do there will be some big score lines.

Good display again from the team today. Much better showing than last year and revenge was extremely sweet.
Defence is clearly the difference between this year and last.
We have plugged the gaping holes we left in the line last year and teams are finding it much harder to get through us this time round.
We do lose a lot of posession when we throw passes away instead of holding on and playing safe, but at the end of the day when the passes come off and we destroy defences with our flair and speed, that is what makes us a different team to the rest and that is what is making us a step ahead of the others.
Fax are an exciting team to watch at the moment and I am sure that other teams spectators (if they are being honest) would agree that we do play exciting rugby. Let's not be too critical of the style of play because it is bringing us success and we don't want to stop the momentum we currently have.
Well done lads, don't stop doing the thing that we are all enjoying ................ WINNING!!
IF YOU WANT TO WIN IT YOU'VE GOT TO EARN IT.
DESIRE AND PASSION FOR 80 MINUTES.
COME ON FAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
