i thought about that but but the pitch is going to be a mess cause wednesday 4th: halifax rlfc v blackpool saturday 7th: siddal v swinton sunday 8th: halifax rlfc v loughbourough tuesday 10th: halifax town v harrogate railway saturday 14th: halifax town v woodley sports thursday 19th: halifax rlfc v widnes vikings 4 games in 6 days and 6 games in 15 days so i can see why but if there playing it the saturday what difference will it make. |

Not really, The groundstaff will have much longer between games to carry out any post match maintinence which they need to. Even temporary repairs will help the upkeep of the pitch. I think we're lucky to have a decent pitch, Its level, well turfed, drains well (albeit after a lot of work, remember the old problem area infront of the skircoat? and doesnt cut up quickly. Many teams would love to be in our poisition, including some SL teams, Look at the state of The Stoop the other week. |
