We came up short again. Thought we had narrowed the gap with the signings . On this evidence we have some catching up to do. Didn't think the lads from Huddersfield improved our side. Morris and Co know the calls and are familiar with our plays.
Think Leigh could of gone up a gear if needed. There forwards really got on top .

When all is said and done i will still be at workington on sunday supporting the club. The point i am making is by not having the players to go through sides up the middle which simon as made the decision not to we are limiting our ways of beating the opposition. This was not just a issue against leigh it as been one for some time which i think should of been addressed by now. By playing the way we are even in dry conditions we will make a fair few errors which i don't mind as long as we are winning. It is not a straight choice between 5 drives and a kick or throwing the ball about its about having a well balanced attack which will make us harder to beat but i don't see that happening.

That's a weird point, how do you work that out?

How many quota players you got? How many of the ones that perform well will you be able to keep? Aren't most of your players on 1 year contracts? Fev have a pretty settled squad, Leigh don't have that benefit so in my opinion you will have more mercinaries just out to get the biggest pay check they can get without very little affiliation to Leigh.

If Fev get promoted, they will have to recruit heavily too in order to compete, hence they will become unsettled just the same.

I reckon Fev will probably only need about 6 or 7 players to have a chance of not finishing last. I think at the moment they could compete with the lower half of SL as I suspect Leigh could but Leigh simply wont keep a lot of the players they have, well I guess they may do but its unlikely.

To be fair Greg, I don't think either Leigh or Fev could compete in SL atm. Leigh will also keep the best of their overseas players who will have already settled in. Leigh are in a better position than Fev but, that doesn't mean we will be promoted. Also, we haven't really hit any kind of good form yet. BTW - We are interested in Blake Ferguson. Anyway, Best of luck for the Panthers for the rest of the season.

Derek , as you rightly say we haven’t hit any real form yet this season , but we still have the BEST attack in the League , when we do watch out .
As for Blake Ferguson , it’s a bit more than interested , but we shall see .I may see ya at the LSV next Friday for the Dews game .

Hi Ian, I hope we do sign him, and we also need a classy stand off (Playmaker/General) to guide us around the park, and create more chances. As for next Friday, I can't make it, but no doubt we will catch up soon mate.
