Sorry Kyle and no offence.
But, if it does turn out to be him I just don't get it at all.
And, If it doesn't turn out to be him why he was even interviewed in the first place.
Why, because there's enough risk and uncertainty surrounding the club at the moment and the last thing we need to be doing is deliberately adding to it in another key position.

Well, whoever it is they'd better get a move on. Hardly anyone signed up for next season, and the longer this goes on there'll be no one available! These are some SL players currently up for grabs:

As has been mentioned before we can't really set expectations that high given the situation the club is in and there will not be many experienced coaches applying for this job so there is a good chance it will be some one without head coaching experience. I wouldn't even be bothered if it were Kyle Eastmond as long as he is judged to be the best person for the job, my worry is if we as a club are capable of judging who is the best person for the job.

That's a valid point, don't think we have a director of rugby , not sure who's even negotiating the contracts since Durgan stepped down and finn left.

Outside SL, coaching Fax would still be a plum job for any up and coming coach IMO if fax could guarantee they can start and finish the season, It be an exciting job to rebuild a team.
Thought maybe someone like Mark Dunning would be tempted after gaining experience at Bulls and doing a decent job at Midlands.
Eastmond is just a bat #### crazy appointment. He's played the majority of his career as a union player. The games completely different to when he left 13 years a go.
