One point between being a legend or a loser . Is there any other sport where winning and losing on the pitch is not important? It’s always puzzled me especially when the government has so much arbitration on day to day decisions especially under the pretence of ‘equality’ why they’ve never looked at rugby league and thought ‘ wtf in the name of corrupt capitalism is going on there ‘
A win is a win, wasn't particularly pretty or stylish, But its 2 massive points.
I said before yesterday, anything from that game is a bonus, we should expect to beat Dewsbury and Whitehaven, and even the most optimistic of fax fans know we aren't getting anything from the Bradford or Toulouse games barring some miraculous change of form.
Well what a result and the reality is that and a win next week should be enough to keep us in the division and hopefully it gives the chance for the club to get sorted off the field.

That’s it exactly, first thing crucial to avoid the drop on the field with a massive 2 points and other results going our way yesterday ( just need to not think all we have to do is turn up against Dewsbury ) then watch out for what’s going on off it which has it’s own big question marks.
I was convinced that Robinson would kick that last conversion and then they knock on in the next set talk about a swing in emotions. Like as been said no slip ups next week and that should go a long way to making sure we avoid the drop then hopefully things can improve off the pitch to help on it for next year.

I didn't go but kept checking the score updates on the BBC website so when I saw we were winning 16-6 at about 4.30 I thought we'd done it but checked again 10 minutes later and it showed 16-16 with the game still in play. I was gutted as I expected the score to tick up to 18-16 assuming Robinson was lining up a conversation as he never misses. So obviously delighted to see it change to 16-17. Reminds me of getting out of jail in the 2004 relegation play off match against York.
Watched the highlights and Pauli looked a right handful for them. Would love to see a line breaker like that at Fax.

I thought Sunday was one of our better displays of the season which probably says a lot about our season. A much better defensive attitude and a will to win was enough to beat Donny and for that the players deserve credit. It was probably a good game for the neutral to watch and an exiting end topped off by Woody's winning one pointer. More against Dewsbury next weekend please. Up The Fax!

Pauli seems to divide opinion because he is big but lazy that said used in the right way he can be a handful and we could do with some of that.

We certainly do and it's about getting a balance within your team. You can then justify the Connor Davies types that give you 80 minutes solid hard graft but will never create you anything..
