Batley is the best away day of the year. I didn't enjoy that second half smashing of them.

No, I didn't. Completely unnecessary booing when they walked onto the pitch at the beginning of the game too, not needed and unnappropriate especially for a team like Batley.

However, I did enjoy the win, and I did enjoy the fact that we're looking hot!

The win was good and helped with the points difference I.e... widnes-toulouse..

But I wish it was a Leigh, Haven, Donny thumping where I didn't care about who we played but like most people I reckon I have a soft spot for Batley...

Hey its a Pro game, you do what you have to do.
Lets be honest we did not bother first half but when we did second half we murdered them, not our fault stop feeling sorry for them.
I did not enjoy the first half tbh it was very average, both teams.
Yer we don't mind Batley and wish it had been Whitehaven but like I say we want to see a professional job and if that means 'smashing' them sorry but tough.
Did Hull KR bother the other year when we got tonked???
No they went for it.

So do I, there is certainly a likeability factor about Batley and our league would seem strange without them! Keep going Batley, look forward to my trip there this season.

Would also like to compliment them on the fact that they always bring their mascot over, created some real banter with Halicat tonight and kwpt me entertained at times.

Yes its the pro game and we did what was needed am not bothered about that.. in fact happy in that aspect.

We did bother in the first half, batley just were a bit more competitive and more enthusiastic.

You didn't enjoy the first half cos we didn't score after score against a game team.

Nah I meant the first half had loads of mistakes (both sides), too many penalties and like I said we were half hearted.

Maybe but I've never seen their fans throw bottles at the away team. Go figure!
