Must admit I haven't seen much of Eden as fell out with SL for obvious reasons but that highlights reel shows me his is a way more rounded player than Walmsley and the same keen eye for interceptions and tons of speed. Good deal for this league if we keep him fit - thanks for posting.

Yes same here, obviously had heard about him and seen him play a few games and remember him playing for Huddersfield in his early days and standing out but not taken a lot of notice of him since but as you say looks a real dangerous player with all the things you mentioned and looks to have some strength, difficult to handle and can bump people off.

Bit older now from some of the highlights and just hope he stays fit.

Knowing our luck he’ll probably get injured in a pre season friendly or bumping into one of his own team mates in training.

To be honest a bit of a shock when I first heard about it being a done deal literally a few hours before it was officially announced.

Led to believe there still looking to strengthen but going to take a step back from trying to keep up with it all and posting as it takes up a lot of time.

ListenUp genuinely has a few inner contacts so might hear something from him.

I am like a stuck record but I hope Finny can see we BADLY need an organiser, a strong 6 with a big mouth and niggly as fk like Muzza as we badly miss that. Dunno who that could be but for all his bits of flair it aint LJ. Not even sure Widdop would bring that?

Yep, defo need that General on the pitch which makes a massive difference and whilst we hear the term marquee signings, having the right leader is a marquee decision.

On Widdop there has been and will be differing opinions on the pro’s and cons and I’ve heard a few things about his release from Cas, the cryptic retirement from professional rugby league statement etc.

Latest info I have heard is it still could be on and If he does come out of retirement there’s a shirt available and it will be with Fax and it’s down to him to assess things and decide on his next move as it obviously affects not just rugby for another year or two.

Tbh I’m becoming more and more reluctant to post on here as it just gets spun into a negative narrative. We could sign superman n he’d be deemed as crap .

Especially if he had a few wiggly lines that could vaguely look like a Bull on his shorts / cape and was wearing BOX Soxs :lol:

On the theme of the squad the way I approach it now is that I / we are just trying to share some information that isn’t based just on guess work but even then things change at the last minute so it’s never done until it’s officially announced and I’m not going to argue with someone about it.

There’s a judgement call on whether and what should be said depending on the sensitivity and confidential nature that it was passed on.

On one of my regular extended jollies in a few days and away from it all. Yippee.

Well last season we had a really exciting close season with lots of promising new signings which, to put it politely, did by and large not work out as hoped. Perhaps our less spectacular recruitment this year will bring a more settled consistent season. Featherstone still not confirmed Hankinson - he would be a perfect fit. This is complete speculation, with probably no chance of happening- but I'm also getting bored with nothing coming out of the club and about 1 post a week on the forum. It wouldn't be so bad if it would just stop bloody raining!
