Much as it pains me to say it but Fev have been fantastic in the play-offs and in a way it'd be great to see them do Toronto next week but we don't want to have to go there again next year.

Where? Featherstone?

Fev have used over 20 players this season who are not Fev players, Ryan Carr's words. He has been on tv wearing a Leeds shirt. If that is the future of RL then I want no part of it. I hear he is on his way to Leeds anyway. P.S. I saw you on telly, you looked as though you'd had a good day, Lol!

I don't disagree that sport is about one team against another, it should be that way. However sharing resources does not have to devalue this, for example a number of clubs share the same infrastructure for their web sites, others have shared physios/treatment rooms, this reduces overheads in the same way loaning a player does. if it had been 20 loan players rather than a mixture of 20 DR/loan players would it have been okay? At what point is it wrong when you have used 20 players, 15, 10 maybe, just 5 or even just 1? as you said if you murder 1 person or 10 you are still a murderer. Maybe in truth it the RFL rules that are wrong that allows teams to have 5 DR/Loan players in any given game? And this now makes me look like i'm defending DR when in truth I dislike it.

Yes a fantastic day day out in the sun, 30 degrees, over 40 hours with no sleep, and a visit to one or two ale houses, whats not to like? Oh and we won how could I forget it?

Fev are a habitual abuser. Yes, your not breaking any law per se and it would be at the severe detriment of the league if other teams go down the same route. As a fax fan, when I see us trying to develop a sustainable talent pipeline that with the reserves and Calderdale College, same with the like of Newcastle and London - that's good for the game as a whole. I don't see why Fev cannot follow the same path. DR as a system is in place to favour SL clubs as the RFL don't want to develop a tiered system like in OZ.
